Our Mission: We are dedicated to relieving hunger and providing support resources, and creating a positive and welcoming experience for patrons.
Beginning May 29, 2026 The Idanha Development Foundation will be managing the Food Pantry for the Idanha and Detroit area residents in conjunction with Marion-Polk Foodshare.
Our community food pantry serves many families and seniors in the area and is one of the community hubs in the area.
Managed by Idanha resident and IDF board member Zola Saner.
The Idanha Detroit Food Pantry is open every Friday from 9 AM till Noon and is located at the Idanha Community Church on Church Street in New Idanha.

We love our volunteers!
If you’d like to volunteer please call or email Zola at 503-881-2919 and plan to attend volunteer training on Tuesday, May 19th 11am at Idanha City Hall.

Our food pantry cannot operate on grants alone. We rely on the community’s generous donations to help with monthly operating expenses.
