Donate to Food Security in Idanha/Detroit, OR
With recent federal cutbacks, our community’s food bank has run dangerously low on basic staples. At the same time, many local families are relying more than ever on the support it provides. That’s why the Idanha Development Foundation is stepping up—and we need your help.
All donations made through this campaign will go directly to supplement food distribution at the Idanha Food Bank. Supplies of basic necessities are running low—or in some cases, already out. Your gift will be used to purchase food staples that will then be distributed to the people who count on the food bank.
Every donation matters. Whether it’s a few dollars or a larger gift, your support helps ensure our neighbors don’t go hungry. Together, we can keep the shelves stocked, the boxes filled, and the community’s dignity intact.

The Idanha Development Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the economic well-being and quality of life for the residents and visitors of Idanha, Oregon. Why This Matters Now
– Economic change and funding reductions have put extra strain on the safety-net systems many residents rely on.
– The Idanha Food Bank’s shelves are showing the impact: staples like canned goods, pasta, rice, and other shelf‐stable items are running low or gone.
– When essentials vanish, the most vulnerable—seniors, children, families in transition—are the ones feeling it first.
– By pooling our resources and acting now, we can shore up the food bank, send hope into homes, and reinforce the message that we’re in this together.
